  • · The Divine Mercy devotion is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 3pm.
  • · Confirmation preparation classes will be held every Saturday at 4pm until 11 September.
  • · Liturgy Committee meeting is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm.
  • · Readers Preparation meeting is held on the  last Friday of each month.

The feast day of Saint Mary of the Cross McKillop: To all parishioners in the Wollongong Diocese, you are invited to a Mass with Bishop Brian Mascord on Monday 8 August at 12 Midday, to celebrate the feast day of Saint Mary of the Cross McKillop and the 150th Anniversary of the Josephite Sisters in NSW. Following Mass Bishop Brian Mascord will bless the new Statue for the Unborn, provided by Catholic Women’s League. Light lunch will be provided by Catholic Women’s League in the Xavier Centre. All are welcome.

Campbelltown Catholic Club’s 56th Annual Communion Mass & Luncheon: Sunday 21 August 2022  Mass will be concelebrated by Bishop Brian Mascord DD and Fr Christopher Sarkis at 10:00am at Our Lady Help of Christians, Rosemeadow. At the conclusion of the Mass a luncheon will be served at The CUBE, Campbelltown Catholic Club.  Tickets will be available to purchase through our parish office.

LIVE Festival 2022 This year the annual LIVE Festival is returning for the first time since 2019.  If you are a young   person in year 9 – 12 in the Wollongong Diocese who likes live music, quality content, fun, games, festival activities and has missed big Catholic events, then come to the LIVE Festival!  Date: Friday the 2nd of September; Time: 10am – 8pm; Location: WIN Entertainment Centre Wollongong; Cost: $50; Registrations close on the 31st of July. Diocese of Broome – Kimberley Catholic Volunteer Service NEEDED URGENTLY – VOLUNTEER WORKERS The Diocese of Broome, WA, urgently requires volunteers to assist with the work of the local Church on Aboriginal Missions. There are various important voluntary tasks: administration, building maintenance, gardening, shop staffing, cooking, cleaning etc. Placements are preferred for a period of 6 months plus. Catechist Diploma Course 2022 Mondays (Campbelltown), Fridays (Wollongong/Online) Taught by a variety of presenters, the Level 3 course takes us on a journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church. menALIVE Growing Good Men Father & Teenage Son Weekend Experience Friday 6.30pm 21 October – Sunday 1.30pm 23 October 2022 to be held at Cataract Activity Centre, Appin A weekend experience for fathers and their teenage sons. One of the most important influences in the lives of men is the relationship they had with their father or significant father figure. The encouragement and affirmation that this relationship could, and should, provide, is a key ingredient for how young men view themselves and embrace their faith and gifts as they take their place in the world. GROWING GOOD MEN is an experientially based program which encourages and enables fathers and sons to strengthen their relationship and to explore important issues of growing into manhood. It is designed for fathers and their adolescent sons aged 12 to 16 years (school years between 7 and 10). Don’t miss this! Spots are limited to just 25 fathers with their sons. This is a unique opportunity for dads and their sons to embark on a quest of discovery with Robert Falzon (founder of menALIVE) and his team. The XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops The Diocese has completed its XVI Synod Synthesis Report, with the advice gleaned from the discernment, discussion and writing of the faithful of the Diocese, used as the basis of Bishop Mascord’s submission in contributing to the XVI Ordinary Synod global church feedback. The Diocese of Wollongong Synthesis Report may be viewed at https://catholic.org.au/synodalchurch . Please pray for this ongoing process of prayer and discernment for the XVI Ordinary Synod.

LIVE Local Macarthur Catholic Youth Ministry Wollongong (CYMW) is back with LIVE Local in the Macarthur, running every Sunday night in the school term from 6:15pm– 8:15pm, at St John the Evangelist Parish Campbelltown. This regional youth group is for all Parishes and is open to young people aged 13–17 who want to make new friends

Faith Circles—free small group resource: During this period of COVID pandemic, you are encouraged to spend time in prayer and spiritual reading and faith Circles is one way that you can do this. The weekly Faith Circles resource is available for free to download. It is easy to use and could easily be done in your household or even by skype / phone with others at this time, with its questions and prayer points.
